I am the Executive Director at Sister to Sister 2, Inc. dba Serenity House a non-profit organization serving women who have experienced violence, addiction, homelessness, and incarceration (often all of these). My background includes nursing and clinical research. Years ago I spent 9 months living at Serenity House and received transformative and healing services. This program changed my life! In 2013 I began volunteering with the organization so that I could use my knowledge, skills, and experience to help other women. I worked closely with the founder, who passed away in Nov 2017. In 2019 I became the Executive Director. I am truly passionate about this work! I also have the privilege of working with an amazing team of dedicated women who care deeply about serving our most vulnerable and marginalized community members.
